Jewelry - Presley & Co. Fine Jewelers
Not having a jeweler we go to regularly, we found Liz at Presley & Co. amid the pandemic. It felt weird to be happy about jewelry shopping during a time when so many crazy things were going on. But, this intimate, clean, socially distanced, shopping experience was amazing. Going in with an idea of what we liked, the things we picked out ahead of time just didn't click. Then Liz says "what about this one?" The second we laid eyes on it, we knew that was the one, for both of our rings. Able to deal with customizations, and using a family heirloom to complete the package, Liz was knowledgeable, friendly, and has an eye for any style. The stunning earrings were a wedding gift from Jim, and once again, Liz helped to pick the perfect match.

Besides being an amazing friend to us both, and a mother to 2 fantastic kids, and willing to put it all on the line for anyone in need, Melissa also takes incredible photos. Specializing in family shoots, graduation photos, newborn photos, and portraits, Melissa has an eye for light, and knows how to elicit, and when to catch the perfect expression. Her skill with editing and penchant for perfection, makes every photo shoot magical.
Cake & Cookies - Kakes by Katrina
I have known Katrina for many years, back when we worked together, and when she started posting photos of these amazing cakes, cookies, and cream tarts on her social pages, I was blown away. From richly detailed themed birthday cakes, to "color your own" cookies, to gorgeous, elegant wedding cakes in all styles, I have been in awe of her talent. I was so thrilled to have an opportunity to approach Katrina about a cake and cookies for our special day. She was not only accommodating with what we requested, but excited to take on the challenge of putting the 7-Eleven logo on a cookie. And she knocked it out of the park. One of the best things about Katrina's' work, is that they taste delicious. Graze Box - Benci
What a happy accident!! I stumbled across this blossoming little company by a post with a raving endorsement on a local neighborhood group. I took one look at the box and went straight to their website. We LOVE meat and cheese of almost any kind, and the artistry and attention paid to the display of these graze boxes was something I had never seen before. I reached out to put in my order, making very sure to be very clear about some severe food allergies, and concern about cross-contamination, and Chelsea got right back to me, and took it all in stride. The grazing box was more lovely in person, and was so chock-a-block with different treats, I found something new every time I stopped to grab a nibble. Delicious meats, hard and soft cheeses, decorated with fresh flowers, surrounded by nuts of all kinds, fresh and dried fruit from all across the rainbow spectrum, and all topped off with a golden, glittery "Mr. & Mrs." decoration front and center. Chelsea delivered the box directly to my house. Chelsea and her best friend Dina are running this business out of La Mesa, CA, and Palos Verdes, CA, and I will definitely be using them again soon.
